A 550W BLDC hub motor with a peak power of 1.2kW powers the Optima CX. It is powered by a 52.2V, 30Ah lithium Ferro phosphate battery pack that takes about 4-5 hours to charge entirely.
The e-top scooter’s speed is reported to be 45kmph. The standard CX is reported to have an 82-kilometre range, while the CX ER is said to have a 140-kilometre range.
The Hero Electric Optima has a 250watt battery that generates approximately 0.33bhp and an automated transmission. On a single charge, the Hero Electric Optima offers a range of 60 kilometers.
The battery options for the CX model are lead-acid (LA) and lithium-ion (LI). The top speed of the CX series is 25kmph in both variants. The lead-acid variant has a range of 50km per charge, while the lithium-ion variant has a range of 85km per charge.
Charge time for a lead-acid battery is eight to 10 hours. The lithium-ion version, on the other hand, requires four to five hours to fully recharge. Because it is a slow-speed scooter, the Optima (CX) does not require registration.
The Optima is designed to look like an electric scooter. The scooter weighs 86kg and has a ground clearance of 140mm.
The Hero Electric Optima CX resembles the HX model it replaces. The streamlined design is complemented by a halogen headlamp, apron-mounted front blinkers, and a wide, comfortable seat.
The Optima has 16*3 tires on both the front and rear axles. The scooter is built on a reinforced high-strength steel chassis, with suspension handled by telescopic forks on both ends.
