Hexagon Purus has signed a long-term binding agreement of intent (LOI) with Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S. Inc to supply battery packs for numerous Hino truck platforms, with serial production set to begin in 2024. The overall sales value during the term of the agreement is estimated to be one billion dollars. This deal is in addition to a major commercial truck OEM’s previously announced nomination of Hexagon Purus for the supply of battery packs (31 January 2022). These two agreements are projected to be worth between USD 1.8 billion and USD 2.2 billion to Hexagon Purus.
