Hyundai recalled 357,830 vehicles, including Santa Fe SUVs from the 2016-2018 model year, Santa Fe Sport SUVs from the 2017-2018 model year, Santa Fe XL models from the 2019 model year, and Tucson SUVs from the 2014-2015 model year. Kia is recalling 126,747 K900 sedans from 2016 to 2018, as well as Sportage SUVs from 2014 to 2016. Dealers will evaluate and possibly replace the vehicles’ anti-lock braking control module, which is a small computer system that regulates the vehicle’s emergency anti-lock braking system. Dealers will also replace a fuse that controls the electric current to the anti-lock brake control unit for free. The new fuse reduces the amount of power transmitted to the module.
