News has been spreading across Europe for the last several months that the Tesla Model Y – thanks to import from Tesla’s plant in China – but not yet in the UK, which, unlike the rest of the continent, uses right-hand drive (RHD) cars. According to the Twitter posts by some Netizens, the RHD Tesla Model Y has finally arrived. Its initial customers have received information for deliveries and test drives. But it is likely that the cars with the AMD Ryzen chip, a lithium-ion auxiliary battery, and other updates that were applied in China, were spotted in some cars in the U.S.

Considering that Tesla Model 3 is the best selling in the UK and the second-best-selling model overall in 2021, Tesla Model Y might also leave a powerful impact on the market. 

According to some industry members, in the latter part of 2022, the Tesla Model Y will enter local production in Germany. This step will significantly improve the supply of vehicles in Europe.
