Tesla to install mega chargers; Semi pickup truck launch eminent

The electric car maker Tesla has begun the installation of the first set of EV mega chargers at PepsiCo’s facility in California according to reports by Insideev. Tesla plans to deliver the first batch of Class 8 all electric semi trucks to Frito Lay soon. The magnacharger comes with a whopping capacity of 1.5 Megawatts and is looking. According to reports, Pepsico is believed to have placed an order for 100 semi trucks with Tesla. This decision by Pepsico comes on the back of them planning to cut down on fuel costs and adopting greener alternatives by greatly reducing its carbon footprint.
