While nothing is known about the powertrain of the upcoming electric SUV, the eXUV300 concept displayed at the Auto Expo was said to have two battery pack options – 350V and 380V. The smaller Nexon EV will compete with the standard Nexon EV. The larger model will compete with the long-range Nexon EV, Hyundai Kona Electric, and MG ZS EV. The Nexon EV will also receive a battery capacity and range increase later this year. Please keep in mind that Mahindra announced details on the eXUV300’s powertrain two years ago, and there may be differences in the model that will go into production in 2024.
